Shelby graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine of New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in Seneca Falls, NY. There she completed over 3,000 hours of intense didactic and clinical training to receive a Master’s of Science in Acupuncture and a Master’s of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Shelby is a licensed practitioner in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
Shelby has practiced in a variety of clinical settings including the Seneca Falls Health Center, NYCC Campus Health Center and treating veterans at the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua, NY. Shelby received several distinguished service awards including the Hua Tou Humanitarian Award while at NYCC.
Prior to attending graduate school, Shelby completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Saint Bonaventure University. Shelby incorporates the use of acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapy, tui na (Chinese medical massage) and dietary therapy to help reach her patient’s health goals.
Outside of the office, Shelby enjoys working out, cooking and enjoying time with her horses.
